I have a Masters Degree in Education from SUNY Cortland and Masters Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. I have 25 years experience working with school aged children and families. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and adolescents in various settings including schools, hospitals, and community organizations.

I believe in establishing a positive, trusting rapport with my clients so I can help them become more self-aware and identify their own positive traits, talents and strengths in order to reach the level of mental wellness they deserve.

Counseling /Mental Health Therapy

When reflecting on my most significant experiences, I find fulfillment in assisting others in reaching their goals and recognizing their self-worth. Having worked in diverse fields, I have realized the importance of providing neutrality and support, which I aim to offer each client. By meeting them at their current stage in their mental health journey, my goal is to create a safe and stable environment for them to explore their different aspects and viewpoints.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I apply a range of methods and strategies to support individuals, children, adolescents, and various relational dynamics in their natural growth process. In my experience within a neurodiverse setting, I specialize in ADHD and other related disorders. I also provide support for parents/guardians. This can either be individual therapy for their personal growth or regularly scheduled appointments to learn how to manage or support their child’s needs. Furthermore, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from LeMoyne and a Master of Arts in MFT from SU.

I believe it is important to start where the client is at, not where we think they should be.
